The 3′ wide clump is composed of upright leaves that arch outwards like a giant wave. The leaves also have a unique wavy edge that we haven’t seen in any other hostas. In August and September, the clumps are adorned with 30″ spikes of large, splendid purple-and-white striped buds, opening to large, slightly fragrant flowers
